| Dr. Petrillo completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rusk Institute – New York University Medical Center in 1976 and a Spinal Cord Injury fellowship in 1979 serving as an attending physician until 1982.
Dr. Petrillo came to Norwalk in 1982 where he served as Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Norwalk Hospital from 1982 to 2012 where he is currently a senior attending. Dr. Petrillo has been in the faculty of New York University, Yale University and Mount Sinai (NYC) and has been Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation since 1977. He has been the president of Rehabilitation Consultants PC since 1997 and has developed solid expertise in many areas of rehabilitation and sports medicine as follows:
